Overview

Big Blue (or jumbo) water filter housings to suit cartridges of 4.5″ diameter. Big Blue filters are suitable for a range of water filtration applications, popular domestically for whole-house filtration or as a water tank filter; commercially, in caravan parks; and for industrial water treatment or as a filter for pre-RO.

Pearl Filtration’s Aquafilter Big Blue filter housings are an affordable, European made, aesthetic alternative to many housings currently on offer in the Australian market. Our Big Blue housings have been rigorously tested, and fully complies with several international standards and codes, including WRAS, NSF, CE and FDA.

Big Blue filter housings are available in either 10″ or 20″ lengths, with inlet/outlet threaded connection options of 1″ or 1.5″ BSP. To release the pressure or any air trapped in the housing, a brass pressure relief screw is included on the filter’s head. Pressure gauges are available as an optional extra.

A range of pre-assembled Big Blue housings, as twins or triples, are available for purchase here. Other housing customisation options are possible, as Pearl Filtration supply the necessary brackets and equipment for customers to build their own assemblies, or we have the capability to assemble multiple housings together, and pressure test them, within our workshops in Sydney and Melbourne.
